Description.png

As a junior designer for the University of Florida’s Graphic Design program, I extended the existing brand to promotional materials. I was assigned a general goal of what should be completed by the end of the internship and then managed the projects through basecamp and slack. I worked on the following designs (displayed below): letterhead design, alphabet extension, business cards, mailchimp templates, a yearbook, and a logo. The design program’s name is UF Graphic Design and it offers two programs: MXD (MFA), and DVC (BFA).

During the internship, I used existing branding guidelines to create the materials. I also used the letters from MXD to create the DVC logo and create new letterforms that are under consideration for other programs that may be rebranded.

T-shirt, yearbook, and stationery in currently production. DVC logo is in process for approval.

*Branding for MXD was developed by Jarred Elrod.

The yearbook consists of 6 sections: Introduction, Grads, Seniors, Juniors, Highlights, and End Notes. I created the format, managed the project, collected the content, handled the photography, and created templates for the seniors to design their spreads. They were charged with designing the patterns to their spreads — beyond using the color palette, everyone had individual creative freedom.
